Keeping the Doors Open
Opening the doors to your business was a dream come true. Keeping
your dream alive when a crisis like a critical illness or an accident
arises means planning ahead.

Plans for Survival for You and Your Business
Life-threatening heart attacks, strokes or cancers represent more than
85% of all critical illnesses. The good news - today’s science, technology
and medicines ensure that your survival chances have increased.
Make sure your business survives too.

Living Benefit Plans are available for:
- sole proprietors and partnerships
- contractors and trades people
- small businesses and freelancers
- employed professionals

We have Traditional Group Plans and Non-Traditional Group Plans. All of our plans are designed according to your needs and budget.

Traditional Group Benefit Plans
We will help design or renew your group plan, whether it's a traditional or one of our new non-traditional plans. Our knowledge and experience assure that you'll get the plan right for you or your company. As an independant brokerage firm, we have the ability to search for the company that suits your needs and which offers a competitive price.

Don't wait for more cutbacks. This NON-TRADITIONAL PLAN may be your answer to group benefits!
The SME (group) Plan has been especially designed so employers and employees alike can adapt to all the provincial healthcare changes. With more and more cutbacks to our nation's health care system, many Canadians are surprised to find out, sometimes too late, that their Government Health Insurance Plans [such as "OHIP" in Ontario], don't cover many day-to-day health expenses such as vision, dental care, visits to chiropractors or necessary prescription drugs and more.

Non Traditional Plans for Small and Medium Enterprises - SMEs
SME Plans were developed for businesses with 5 or more employees. At KIF, we like to compare the way we design the SME plan to the way we order food at a restaurant - Menu or Buffet style.
Menu style would represent the traditional way most insurance companies offer their group plans. You're given a specific Menu of options to select from. Not everyone shares the same needs or health issues, so the plans you get are not necessarily the best, nor the most cost effective.
Like getting your lunch from a Buffet, our Non Traditional Group Plans allow you and your employees to select only the products suited to your unique needs and budget. Because each employee will have a different plan, they can pay for a percentage of it. The program is also portable, meaning that when an employee leaves, they can choose to take their coverage with them, and continue paying for it themselves.
