Hospital “Cash” Allowance

 

For each day you are hospitalized, a daily allowance is paid for your short-term care due to an injury or sickness.

 

Your allowance is doubled when outside your province and 50 km from your residence.

 

If you suffer from cancer, a heart attack or need to be in intensive care, your benefit doubles too.

 

Moving allowance and transportation expenses are covered to generous limits.

 

Coverage is $25 day with a maximum of $100.

 

*Day surgery is paid too, up to four times your benefit.
